I'm not sure but right now I'd say no.
Still has the original shocks on it so who knows. Maybe I can get it working

Does it have it's original radiator? If so, can you get a picture of the tag? Thanks.

Very cool GP, Don! Has some great options for a bench seat car, but no rally wheels or even an upgrade on the wheel covers. I like it!

Just recieved the original pa title in the mail today. Having the carb rebuilt and then it will be driving! The funny thing about the bench seat that many dont realize but it's considered an upgrade.
Gotta tell ya it's a pleasure to drive compared to the buckets and the fact the tape player is in the front is a big plus yo me. The ultimate would be if it were a 4spd. Wonder if they made any bench seat 4spds.

Never knew they put a bench seat in that era. Certainly wouldn't expect it in an SJ. Odd for sure.

That bench , while interesting, just kills the sportiness of the car.

Now just for fun, let me ask, would a bucket and console conversion help or hurt the coolness {and value}?

They're only original once.

That's your opinion! Dosnt bother me whatsoever! I like having something that nobody else has. And when I put my foot in it that takes away any questions you might have about its sportiness.

I'd never do it. The 8 track is a pain in the ass to use. Nowhere to put tapes or anything else. I love the armrest in the middle and makes it so much more comfortable to drive. And the cloth seat is so much more classy in my opinion.
Guess I'm the right guy for the car as was the original owner. He kept it for 50yrs.

Sounds to me like the car found the right owner. Glad something as rare and original went to went to a good home and someone who can appreciate it for what it is. This coming from a resto-mod owner (mine was already far from original when I got it though).
