Agree it's too far gone. That color, really is not anything big considering there are lots of other used 68 and 69 GTOs to choose from in other colors and for a lot less $!!

well damn
i thought it was priced at only 17,500

175,000 is pretty steep for a YS Hardtop .

Seemed like it was about double/triple over-priced 4 years ago @ $8500.
Who would have imagined it would shoot up in value that fast with just a Carb rebuild .
Definitely a gold mine now

No records

Not sure where he pulled 8 Total from -
- but as far as PY BrainTrust goes - only 1 GTO and 1 LeMans are known of in the Pink.

0 - Marigold Yellow GTO/LeMans
0 - Warwick Blue GTO/LeMans
Fair number of Carnival Red GTO/LeMans

Carnival and Pink share same Special Paint Code = 1
Would imagine Marigold and Warwick would be same code too.

Expresso Brown ... wow, I have now seen a color I like better than Verdora Green. I actually painted my 68 a very similar metallic brown Imron back in the 70's.

Can't believe that color is not more common, it's great. Looks nice with vinyl top too.

I remember when these cars were new, and Expresso Brown was very popular, they were everywhere. What happened to them? Repainted resale red? I always liked the brown myself.

Yep, probably was an engine swap with all accessories included.
