Anybody have an nos blue accent stripe I could use to convince Phoenix Traffic that they are way off? I have sent these pics of cars I had. Any help? Trying to finish this car.

PG have never changed anything before when correct information was supplied to them.
I'd quite happily have that blue car. I think. Yeah, I would. |

Blue stripes
I have never taken them out of their boxes, they have a paper covering on the top side so it's difficult to see the actual color. How does one know if they're still good? I have no idea what they would be worth.

Phoenix made a set, not even close. They made the set for me on the Regatta Blue car, and they were very nice. I don't know what happened. I realize in their defense, this is not a popular or seldom requested item. I actually sent them an nos stripe I had for the blue car, it had a small spot that dirt got under the paper so it was ruined. That was twenty years ago, though.

John, my PG outer stripe looks light blue, not white.

Have you checked the D98 option in the listings for those years? You'd expect that if the arrangement is correct then there's only one way to have the colours. John, what is the actual issue you are having, what area appears incorrect?

The first stripe they made the middle blue was very dark. I had them make one to match the blue in the spoiler bird. Bought this car new, have tons of pics, and every one looks like white in the stripe. Maybe it's camera lighting. Common sense would say the bird on spoiler should match accent stripe

The one on top is a mylar painted stripe, you would have seen at the dealership when looking at new vehicles. The bottom was part of a Phoenix Graphix stripe kit.

From the '74 Exterior Appearance Guide the accent stripe against Regatta Blue. Can clearly see the colors. Jim

Thanks Jim. I can't believe I always thought the outer part was white.

Not much point using the darker blue stripes on blue paint, it disappears from most angles, unlike the photos at top of thread.

I agree. I am having it made with the somewhat brighter blue. The same exact colors in spoiler bird.
