Question 1947 Streamliner in picture; correct hood badge?

Hello,

I'm restoring a 1947 Streamliner. I have spent many hours learning the differences between the 1946, 1947, and 1948.

The car in the picture, attached, is a 1947 (owner described on the hang tag)
However, it appears he has a 1946 Pontiac Eight hood badge on the drivers side.

I have only seen 1947 Streamliners with the "spear" badge on the hood, both sides.

Is the Pontiac Eight badge correct for the 1947 Streamliner?

bonus;
I have never seen a Streamliner with chrome speed streaks. In this picture, although I can't tell 100% for sure, they appear chrome. It may just be the paint color. I know the Torpedo Sedan Coupe had chrome speed streaks in 1947...and the Streamliner has chrome speed streaks in 1946.

Did any 1947 2-door Streamliners have chrome speed streaks?

Thank you

Have you reviewed the factory brochures on the Old Car Brochure website? http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/stati.../dirindex.html Brochures aren't always accurate since they are released prior to production, and there's often some artistic license in the illustrations, but it may be useful for comparing the different years.

Thank you, I have reviewed and memorized them.

In no 1947 brochure is there any hood badge other than the spear.
In no 1947 brochure is a 2-door streamliner shown with chrome speed streaks.
