help starter problem on my 75 t/a
i am more of a ford guy , but it seems my car wont start sometimes , it happen today so i pushed it and kick started IT (4 speed car). I DID REPLACE THE STARTER LAST YEAR . IS IT A BAD GROUND AND WERE DOES THE STARTER WIRE GO TO FROM THE STARTER

i think it could be a heat soak issue how do i check i have headers thta touch the starter

Look into getting a mini-starter. It will have more clearance from the headers, as well as more powerful.
LOTS of discussions on here, do a search and you'll find a lot of info. RobMC, IMI, CSR, several brands to choose from. Avoid the Jegs/Summit starters, they don't tend to be as reliable. SecondGenGraveyard on Facebook has some good prices on some.

Had the same issue years ago, intermittent start problem on 76 manual TA .
Turns out the back drive rod was missing sometimes allowing the lever on the column to slip down and act as an inhibitor Solution - Cable tie it in the UP position and never have the issue again - Worthwhile checking
