It has taken me 12 years to put my original goat back together but need help trying to figure out where the attached parts go to or where.
Appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks

I've worked on 71 and 72's and none of those look familiar. Plastic piece looks like it could be a fuse panel cover for on the side of a dashboard (from another car)

Thanks for the reply guys the cover has a part number on it 15554098 but I couldn’t cross it over. Maybe I had some parts mixed in but bothers me I only had Pontiac stuff all these years.
I do have another question if you can help; how does the ash tray light which is optic hook up I think I’m missing a part of it.

Thanks again

x4 not original 72 stuff ....

the fiber optic is held in place by a rectangle piece of plastic that clips into the metal .... has a hole in it toangle the optic light toward the opening of the ashtray ....

I may have a spare ... but Ithink I have only complete assemblies ... I will look tomorrow ... 68-72 are the same
maybe even GP and the big cars for that part ...

Scott thank you if you do have a complete assembly I would be interested in buying one if you are selling. If you have a picture that would help me too.

Thanks Scott I assume the other end goes into the dash panel somewhere.
Right now I gave nothing so if your willing to sell me a complete set without the clip I’ll buy it.
Today I’m under the dash and found this hanging too must take a bulb; it looks like it’s very close to the ash tray. Grey wire I sent a picture.
Thanks again.

ah yes that grey wire ... so grey is always dash lights ..... that unique cocket looks to be for the lighter housing ....

it slides in the top of the housing..... there should/could be a little bump on your lighter housing it slides into...

that little housing also pops off as its a compression fit ..... repop s not all have it nor do all lighters ... but most originals do

the whole fiber optic assembly is available .... you bet ...

pm sent
