Pricey at the $1500.00 price point, but Anvil Auto also has a carbon fiber version as well as a fiberglass version of the 69 TA hood coming shortly.

Well all the hoods come from the same plant so you have a choice of resellers.Tom

Thanks for the replies.

Reason I'm asking is I'm going to look at an older TA clone restoration, but the car has a steel hood on it, just wondering if it might be a GM hood? The car is a couple hours from home, hoping to look at it this weekend.

I'm not familiar with 69 TA's, is there any easily identifiable features between a real hood and a repo? Thanks

From what I see, the underside peak of the hood has a softer angle on the original compaired to the repro hood.

They sell crap on eBay. If you even remotely threaten to leave negative feedback if they don't make it right, eBay will block your feedback as "threatening". Their negative feedback should be at 10%, but eBay filters it. I bought a 69 FB repro Rally gauge cluster faceplate and the numbers on the oil pressure were wrong (upside down). I bought an electric window conversion from them years ago and the door switches were plastic and they refused to take it back. I don't care if they're the only vendor available, they are dishonest and sell absolute junk.
