Front fender ID
Hello all,
I have a pair of fenders o. My 71 that I’m trying to identify. The upper brace has a re-enforcement that I have not seen before. Is this a 70-early 71 identifier? I circled it in red. Thanks, Stan |

John,
Well sort of. The skins are 78’s. The rails are supposed to be 71. Never noticed the little rib circled in red. I am trying to use Ring Brothers hood hinges, and they interfere with the rib. Just trying to figure out what years have the rib to determine the % of years the hinges won’t fit before they will re-tool |

OK, I figured if it was a 71 it would have the vent on side of fender.
(not a 70 then) But using the rail piece negates that. Don't have any fenders around to check them out.
