Default Looking for Restorable 1971 Date-Coded Parking Light Lenses

A good friend here in Atlanta is working on correcting items that cost him points at the GTOAA Nationals on his 71 Lucy Blue Judge. Needs correct date coded 1971 parking light lenses that can be restored, or, NOS. If anyone has some for sale or knows of some, please let me know and I’ll pass it along

Thanks,
BJ

Someone enlighten me please.

Not aware of lenses being date coded.
I am aware of the SAE date on all lenses but that doesn't necessarily mean the model year of the vehicle.

I have 4 '72 Parking Lamp lenses for Endura Cars.

At the top they do have ... GUIDE 2A SAE IP 72 with the part number 5963842 2.

Assuming the '71 lenses have SAE IP 71 with the center bullet painted silver and different part number.

Is there any difference in design, trim or color between 71 and 72? Its my understanding it would have a newer date if that was the case

All, Thanks for the responses and help. My friend did find a good set that have the SAE IP 71 coding and they are clean and restorable.

That is great news.

Put those points back on the overall total!
