Ok... I see their links has disappeared so I'll add it back again. And hopefully the show hasn't been cancelled.

Pretty nice show Saturday, except for a brief rain delay everything was nice. AND, none of the cars melted!

And for those that attended, I was the dummy that left the windows down during the downpour. Surprisingly, not much water got inside the car

Only complaint I had, and this may not be the place for it but, the food guys packed up early and there were no drinks available later in the afternoon. I usually take a cooler full of water with me, but as I was leaving I figured, what the heck they will have something there. I did get a burger and pop, but it was pretty hot, being August and all, and later in the day I was getting thirsty. No where to get a cold drink.

Great show, well run and organized. Had to be around 200 Pontiacs! We'll be back, definitely worth the drive from eastern PA. Thanks SVGTO for putting this Pontiac only show together.

It was a great show. What was funny was that after the rain stopped and the cars dried off they all looked a lot better.... mine included. I say that in a good way.
I talked to Vic about no water available after the food vender left. He said next year that will change.... it will be his input to the ones running the show. I was surprised the food vender left so early. I hope next year they get a vender that stays a lot longer. I was going to grab something to eat before I left..... and poof they were gone.

Is this still happening for 8/15/2020? Don't see much chatter about it and it's showing not cancelled on the SVGTO events web page.

I would guess at least 150 cars and remember this is a Pontiac only show,
I should also mention they have a model car show. Thanks to the guys that put it together. I participated in that and it was a lot of fun. Some pics attached. I didn't get to take too many as the SD card in my phone went belly up. |
