Default 2005 GTO seats in 1965 GTO

Hello, I'm researching installation of 2005 GTO seats in a 1965 GTO. Looking for some detail on how this is done properly. I've heard they might sit a little high. If this is the case they won't work for me. If you have any information on this install, I'd love to hear it.

2 people I know put them in 64's about 12 years ago. Looked good but back then everybody was doing it so it got old quick. Today not so much. Height may have been a tad higher but only because original seats had nearly nothing for support compared to a modern seat.
