When I had my Can Am, I ran 255 60 r 15 tires all the way around on some 8" snow flakes.

Default 255 60R/15 all around is way to go!

That's the biggest that will work. I have mine on stock Rally 11 7x15.

If you get Wheel Vintigues 15x8 rims you can go bigger but will have to deal with backspacing issues.

I think 255s are perfect.

Couldn't leave the car alone, decided to pop on the standard 1973 hub cap for yet another look. You don't see a '73 dressed like this very often.

I've got 255/60's mounted on 8" Snowflakes on all 4 corners of my Can Am. Will be replacing the tires before next year and thought about a 275/60 in the rear, but I'm not sure they won't rub with the 8" Snowflakes. I have just enough room to fit my fingers between the sidewall and the wheel opening trim with the 255/60.

Default Rear Tire Size

I run a 305/35/19 on the rear but the wheels were custom built for the GA. Wheels are 19x11 rears, 19x9.5 front. No rear fender modification required as long as the offset is correct. No rubbing. Tire is 27.5" diameter. Rear differential is stock width.

That's what I am running on my Can Am now, and there is just enough room to get my fingertips between the sidewall of the tire and the inner lip of the 1/4 wheel opening.

This car also looks amazing. Wheels are perfectly sized and fit the look of the car. The black trim is cool and I dig the trans-am style exhaust after the wheel. Excellent job.

79' TA WS-6 Snowflakes zero offset
295/50/15 on the rear
275/50/15 on the front

No clearance issues and looks really good!
