The Sales Class shows 'J' which is for Zone Stock.
I'd think it would have possibly another BHC? (like the normal PHS of later cars)

Don't know what Fisher did with the car, except to see if it was built up to specs?
(random spec inspection?)

Car led rough life looks like.

Zone 99 dealer 998 is PMD racing division.

"Fisher" could be a person's name, rather than Fisher Body.

My '63 Lemans says "Tag for Mr Connor" on the build sheet.

I meant Fisher Body in my reply.
The BHC says Fisher Request, which I ASSumed meant Fisher Body.

I also had a note on the 99 998 as for Fisher Body, but it was also for a 1964 GTO Convertible, which may have been for this example?
(could be another one, didn't look yet to see if I have a VIN for 1st example)

I show 99-998 as PMD Racing on my '63 Super Duty chart. I got that from the Ultimate GTO Zone and Dealer code map.

Raw dealer codes (without names) are from Pete's book.

No idea who Mr Conner was/is:

14-647 = Sumner Pontiac Co; Des Moines Iowa

Also - never really noticed the "Body in Storage" note until just now.

And one more example of a car tagged to an individual's name, rather than division.

I knew about the Tag item, but this bhc has a request from Fisher (Body?).

One thing I never paid attention to though is the 'G' Sales Code on your examples. Have to add that to my list of codes.

Not trying to be controversial - but
Have never believed that 99-998 was a PMD Racing Code
I think somebody made that one up. And not blaming that on anyone here.
Just my thoughts on it

998 suffix has always been Engineering Defacto
I think it's just engineering via Fisher plant

It's tagged code 1
Routing 3 is same as Red Ringer and one or two other internal use cars we have found.

A 4 bbl Automatic Convertible does not sound like a racer.
Especially compared to the Red Ringer that Wangers had built.

"Red ringer" - lol!

I have found a new favorite name for Tenney's car.
