flasher...
I need to upgrade my stock flasher to the lo-load type for my LED lites.
I have the original 74 TA fuse panel and the stock flasher won't come out - at least easily. Is it just a straight pull at 90 degrees or does it need a counter clock rotation? Perhaps mine is rusted into the fuse panel or I am missing something. I hate messing around in there and don't want to break anything. Thanks

Yes it pulls out straight. One other thing, most of these cars in that time era used the one on the fuse panel for 4 ways. The turn signal flasher is usually in the wiring snarl around the steering column after you get the lower dash panel off, they hide it in that area on a pigtail 2 prong plug. Sometimes it snaps into a bracket, but usually it just hangs there.
I had a 73 T/A but it's been so long I can't recall exactly where it is, but I gave you the general area that many GM cars used of that era. Hopefully this helps. This company has been making LED products for cars, they seem to sell reliable products from what I've heard, and read: https://www.superbrightleds.com/vehicle |

Oh ok. I guess I just need to wrench on it and hopefully it doesn't break.
Come to think of it there is another one that resembles a flasher in a bracket close to there but I didn't know what it did. Now it makes sense because they sent two flasher units in the kit. Thanks!
