Default Data plate

Someone of you must like these. Okey, it's limelight green, '69 convertible from Baltimore, anything else..? What are those extra added stamps - 2 and 8? Top is now white, but shouldn't it be dark green?

Thanks again.

Yes, it should be green top.
Is it 256 after the 'TR'?

If so, it's green interior also.

3rd week of July build date.

Don't know what the '2' and '8' mean.
Possibly for quality control numbers.

Others will probably chime in with better info.

Ive seen those overstamps on other Baltimore cars but not often enough to figure out what they mean. It's a very late car, might have something to do with that.

Or could the "8" be a "B"? If so maybe they are corrections to the date and body number.

Yes, it has a dark green interior. '8' can be 'B' as well. Thanks all!

The 2 in the upper right is located in the inspectors spot to place a stamp, however the 2 and th 8 are both stamped from the backside (before the tag was installed on car) all the inspector stamps I have seen were stamped in along the line with a single strike stamp from the top. I have never seen these before...
