1972 GTO Bench Seat material
After many years I finally took my bench seats in to get a quote on getting them recovered. The ones I took off I thought were original with perforated inserts and Madrid grain bolsters. When the owner of the shop looked at them he said they had been recovered once before. The question I have is does anyone know if the original seat covers were of a perforated vinyl with the grain material used in the bolsters or were they covered with just the grain material. In my research, it looks like it could be either way and SMS sent me samples of both.
Any help would be greatly appreciated or if someone could take a picture of their original seats, that would be of utmost help. Mark |

PUI says two kinds of vinyl.

Madrid grain vinyl with elk grain inserts was used on the bucket seats. I have since found out that the bench seats were Madrid grain with pig skin grain inserts.
