67 gto HO exhaust manifolds question
Did the 67 ho manifolds bolt on using bolts or studs and nuts from the factory?

Bolts, and they had the small keepers that bent over to keep them tight. Unlike the standard log exhaust that could be removed with the engine, the large "L" shaped curve of the HO/RA exhaust manifold makes it just about impossible to remove the engine with the exhaust still on the engine in our 67's and no room to slip manifolds over studs with our cramped engine compartment.

Thanks
I realized that there are four bolts when I looked closer . The keepers look like they go on the two outer bolts only . Unfortunately I have a exhaust leak at the passenger side original manifold and a small crack that I have to get welded . Gonna tackle it next week |
