That's an aftermarket ring gear so it's probably an aftermarket posi, definitely not stock.

Google found a result on the stamped number. Not much help, but at least now you have a name to go with it?

I know the ring gear and pinion is aftermarket, richmond 3.55:1 gears. I was asking about the carrier.

After doing more research today, it might be a Borg Warner unit from 65, well the date stamped is 11 22 65 D

Its in a 66 chevelle; but someone thought it was a bizzerio unit and I heard they were used in POB.

Disregard the Borg Warner information, Now I am thinking it is a BOP cone type unit from the mid 60's Some of you guys must have this in the GTO with positraction source was a Dana
