Need a close up pic of a shifter
Took apart my Hurst factory shifter from my 77 T\A to clean it .Not sure I put the shims back right.But it seems to work right..Can someone give me a close up picture of their shifter?

I would suggest contacting Pete Serio. He restores shifters. Among other things. Plus, he’s a really nice guy. I believe his web site is precisionpontiac.net.

the first one is a disassembly, the second one is the reassembly.
For those not in the know, the only difference between a Firebird and Camaro shifter (if any) is the chrome stick.
