63 Trans cooler?
When I bought a new radiator for my 63 Lemans convertible I was asked if it was a manual or auto trans. I assume so it would have a trans cooler built in. However, the transmission shop that rebuilt my trans says there are no lines fro the 2 speed for a cooler.
Does my transmission use a trans cooler? |

Transaxle is air cooled. No lines to the front.

Mike,,,You have come a long way since the first time I saw your car!! WOW! If you look at the torque converter on the back of the diff, you will see a thin sheet metal cover welded to the converter. This cover acts as a fan & draws air in & over the converter to cool it. This in turn cools the transmission oil inside of it.
