Original Air rotary compressor, Pro6Ten, or s6
The AC compressor in my 1980 Trans Am (all 1979 parts on the ac) is leaking at the front seal. The ac has been converted to R134 and works really well.
I'm wanting to replace the compressor with a newer, lower drag unit that will hopefully perform a little better. I'm looking at the rotary compressor, new lines, and drier from Original Air, a pro6ten or an S6. Obviously the pro6ten or S6 will be the easiest swap as they are direct replacements for the A6. Is there a performance difference between the 3 different compressors? |
