I was working in Colstrip a few years back. I had a day off so I wanted to drive around a little. I think it was Miles City I ended up in, and while just randomly driving around there was about 10 old Pontiacs parked next to a building. I don't remember what all they were but I don't think there were any GTO's.

LOL. Thought I was the only person that had lived in Colstrip. Lived there in the 70's... I was 6 or 7. My dad worked on the power plant there. Haven't been back since.

I was just working at the power plant, actually going back Monday for a month or so. I like it up there, as long as I stay in Colstrip, the drive back and forth from Forsyth, gets old(and dangerous), real fast working 12 hour days.

IIRC... The town was a big trailer park with just a few buildings. Probably changed a lot in the 49 years since I was last there.

Yes, It's a full blown town now but it's days are numbered. They shut down the 2 gas units at the plant and eventually will shut the whole place down.
