I think I've still got a pretty nice set left. I'll try to dig them out tomorrow and see.

Can you elaborate on what a really nice set equates to for you? I have a nice set but they are not perfect
Thanks
Joe

I am looking for a nice set as well. If the OP buy either set, let me know. I would like some spares.

I just dug out the set that I've got. I thought I had a pic of them, but I can't seem to find it. Anyway, they are nice, no splits as they are prone to do. Only one dent that I could see, that was on the side that wouldn't hardly be seen one on the car. However, the black paint is faded and to make a really nice set they would need to be painted. I would need $100 plus shipping. If you want me to get you some pictures, I'll be glad to, it just might take a couple of days.

yes,Jerry H. please let me know when you get the pics or post them for all to see, I'm interested for one hun. To explain, 'really nice' means chrome is not faded, no splits or dents, pretty much ready to install on a really nice car.Pics of them would really help.

I pulled them out to photograph them when the phone rang @ 6:15 and it was a friend that need me to take him out of town to pick up a Z28 that he had just purchased. I just got back in town. I'll get to it to tomorrow God willing.

Here are the pics. Two have very slight dings on one side, one other has a couple that are together. I stacked them up where you could see them. Of course these pics were taken at very close range at high resolution. With painting and a little work they would look very nice. Note that they are the 'Pontiac, Pontiac' caps. One still has the 'Made in Canada' stamp on the inside. If you want them fine, it not, then that's ok too. Just let me know.

What the difference between the 2 caps?? Why do some just say pontiac and some say pontiac motor division?

This was discussed on another thread. One possibility IIRC is that the 'Pontiac' only ones were made in Canada and the PMD caps were US made. As I posted, one of the caps I have has the 'made in Canada' stamp on the inside.

I also noticed that the ones that just say pontiac seem to be lighter and made from a different metal.
