That is one rough ride.... but

I mean you can't toss anything away these days; and Liberty Blue is not a bad find at all.

All you need is a wheelbarrow full of cash to restore. On the plus side, it is a Liberty Blue Judge, 4 spd, Safe-T-Track, PS, PB and no A/C.

What is the point of hiding the VIN number?

I have seen worse brought back. What is the point of the extra cowl? All that is available; retagging shouldn't even be a thought here. I have a really good friend that has done so much of this he has now become as much of an expert at panel replacement as anyone can be. I say if there is a man out there ready to finance it; go for it with blessing

The car really doesn't look THAT bad. For the right buy-in price and you're capable of doing the lion's share of the work yourself, it's worth saving. I'd love to have it....along with a ton of time and a half ton of money.
I wonder what color the interior is... I'd go with parchment or blue...I like those monotone colored cars.
EDIT- I see now...250 is Blue

Thirty years ago a young single mother was driving a '69 Liberty Judge around Newport News, Va. She had family that lived across from my in-laws and that's when I would see it out.
When I was asking about it she didn't want to sell it. In less than a year I heard she let it go for around $900.

Looks to me like it may climb north of $10K.

Very tempting at $3K but I think it's getting too high to make sense any more.

Awful steep for what you are getting.... Unless you have a clean parts car for all of the bolt on sheet metal and small parts....

People are really getting crazy for these cars so even the wrecks are getting some love!

I've heard from several old timers that parted 100s of cars back in the 80s-90s they basically took near running/driving cars and parted off the good options and junked the rest. Most of the stuff that was junked was better than cars being restored today.

Wow, that car makes my GT-37 look real good. The engine block is so pitted it would have to be repaired or it will leak coolant badly at the front cover.

couldn't tell you how many I did just that to. but that was back when I was buying numbers matching judges for 500.00 to a 1000.00 each. just plain gto's you could buy for 50 to 250 all day everyday.

Although this car could have all new metal welded in, the much more likely
outcome is that the person who buys it will do a tag swap onto a body shell from another
car. Although this is illegal and totally unethical that is the most likely outcome of the deal.
I work on a lot of Judges in my shop and I've seen several obvious tag swap cars. My policy
is I don't question the car's authenticity to the customer....I don't intend to open that can of worms. The bottom line is if I was buying a Judge today, I wouldn't even consider it unless
I knew the car's entire history from day one. Back in the mid seventies I parted out a Judge
the same colors as this one that was fifty times the car this one is....I paid 700.00 for it.
