4bbl Carbs
Are there Rochester 4bbl Carbs that would bolt up and work on a OHC other than the OE stock carb?

these were calibrated to work on a small motor
later Q jets have alot of emission crap so stay away. You can rework a V-8 carb to work. Some have just bolted on a V-8 carb and been happy but IMHO it wont be right. Need a new one(NOS)?7029261

The only other Stock Q-jet I found that will work well is a 1980 (and only 1980 as 81-84 carbs are electronic Q-jets) Buick 252 V-6 Carbs, I bought a couple NOS ones about 15 years ago, and they work well on a OHC-6. They also have an electric choke so they do not look stock. But work well.
A 78-80 Buick 231 Turbo Carb may also be worth looking into, but I never tried one.
