7040263 march to may date
I am casually looking for a 7040263 Quadrajet dated somewhere between February and May 1970.
I am willing to humor buying a whole carb in any condition, or just the fuel bowl. I am also open to trades; I have two OE 7040263 carbs*, one SR 7040263, as well as several other years/applications of non-RA 750cfm Pontiac Quadrajets. * = 2139 & 2749 2139 = Aug. 1st 1969 2749 = Oct. 1st 1969 At the time that I am writing this, there is a seriously crusty 7040263 dated March 10th on ePay; The only hard point of reference that I have been able to glean from members here is another 'WT' engined Formula dated 2-3 weeks ahead of mine, which is purported to have a carb dated 0190 (January 19th, 1970). Wouldn't the 0190 be the 190th calendar day of the year ?
