Default Rear bilstein shocks on 2nd gen TA issues

Just installed a set on the rear of my 74 TA. I installed them with extentions but they seem to bottom out.do you have extentions on or not on yours.

Mine don't have extensions and I have no issues...

Could it be the extension cause the problem?shorter travel distance.we installed them on the lift,maybe should try it on the floor
