Sweat shirt Zipper repair idea. Works so far.
I have 2 good hooded sweat shirts I wear for working and running. Both have those nylon zippers. They kept coming open. So I ckd web. Thinking velcro etc. One guy is selling a zipper replacement, the part with the pull. Anyway started reading more, one woman said take a pair of pliers and squeeze the open side of the pull, mine is metal. So I did, almost shut. I Closed zipper. So far I tried pulling open zipper, nope. So far good. Now my zipper tracks are good. Hope this works for you.

Depending on the zipper, the pulls can be made out of some sort of pot metal that will snap and break if you try squeezing them, so proceed carefully.

Yes. I squeezed mine very gingerly. Not to be goofy but if it's not working it cant be worse broke. Just find another metal zipper and replace. I'm still amazed another week of use. I had given up using this hooded sweat shirt.
