Default Kohs and Co. Clarkston Michigan?

Anyone know anything about this co. that builds brass train cars and parts? From their advertisement they seem reputable. Thanks.

According to their website they've been around for 25 years, so that's hopefully a good sign.

Huh.

I'm in Clarkston and lived in the area my whole life. Never heard of 'em.

I will, though, check them out.

I called talked to owner George Koh very nice man. He is near my age. I ordered the brass rail car I wanted. For train bluffs its PRR FD-2 and FW-1 very unique cars. Cars were built by PRR to transport very heavy loads in the 250 ton area. Usually Westinghouse generators out of Pittsburgh. FW-1 transported heavy large machine parts.

O gauge. I still have my first Lionel Santa Fe F3 my father bought me in the early 50s. I tried HO but sold them and stayed with O. I belonged to a group where we set up portable displays year round for about 20 years,I stopped going tired. So we all bought the latest. Now I'm slowly working on my own layout. I go to help a friend at his house every Thursday night. He has s huge layout with 155 operating switches! I've wanted to have these cars for years.I started with wooden mockups to build myself then decided his detail was just to much to ignore.

There used to be a large train shop on Woodward down by 9 mile. The sign is still there, but it’s a book shop now.
