Default Norwalk questions

The plan has been to attend in 2014 with at least one car, but we'd be hauling it in an enclosed and staying in our RV.
How does all that work there?

Park our rig in a spot away from the show? Do they have RV power hook ups easily available?
Drive the car over to the show area? Assigned spots? By make? Do you save your spot and take your car back in the evenings to the camp? Cover and leave it?

Any cruises arranged around the local area?

We'd like to bring two cars, street-show and the Road Race car, but that will take some serious logistics to figure that out.

If someone could give us a run down of what to expect it'd help a lot. 10 hour haul and our first time there, gives us a full year to figure it all out.

Thanks,
Gordon

If you haul your enclosed or open trailer with the RV, you can stay in the pits on the race side. Just need to get a spot that has electric. Don't know the exact amount but I'd guess 60% of the pit area (if not higher) has electric so no need to park away from all the fun. If your showing and not racing, you can reserve an RV campsite on the show side of the track. There use to be some cruises organized years ago but don't think that happens anymore. You can easily move around within the track, don't worry to much about the specifics, just plan on bringing your stuff next year and have fun!
