Default Looking for a 1969 Judge VIN# 242379-127333

Does anyone have info on this car? Current owner, if it is still around.....etc.
A possible owner is/was a Robert Singletary from GA.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of this warwick blue / black interior, RA IV / auto 1969 judge, please contact me. I have the original motor from it.
Thanks in advance for any leads.

Call Jim at PHS and see if anyone ran the VIN. If someone did, he may not give you the persons info, but may call them and give them yours.

Thanks for the help, but I have already talked with Jim at PHS.That's how I got the info on the car it came out of. I was able to get info on the last person that titled the car in 1986 from another source, but turned up nothing. Just trying to reunite the two, before selling to someone needing a 69 RAIV XP coded motor.

I know who owns the car. I forwarded them this string. I hope you still have the motor.

Mike

Cant wait to hear the story on how the engine ended up in TX (If there is a story). Some crazy coincidences with this car. One of my friends Uncle's owned the Dealership were it was bought new. Its been closed a long time but it is still there with a restoration shop being done out of it. Car seemed to stay close by this area its whole existance.

Well, I had a great discussion this afternoon with the owners father. His son, infact does own the warwick blue RAIV / auto judge that I have the block and heads from. He told me that it is restorable and that he is interested in get the motor back, and into its original engine bay. Hard to beleive that the car is still only a few miles from where it was sold new, and the block and heads ended up in Houston TX. More to come as everthing unfolds! Thanks for your help Mike.

It’s so awesome to see a block being reunited w it’s original car. Kudos to you for going the extra step to find the right car/ people. Interested in the rest of the story.

Wouldn’t happen to have a WH kicking around there too would you. Lol

Very exciting day. We figured the Judge with those 4:33 gears ended the life of the motor early and that block was buried in a landfill somewhere. The original dealership owners were big racers and founded the local drag strip. Maybe some stories there with this car. Glad you posted this and thanks to you for trying to find the current owner.

When I got the PHS back on the block, I could not believe that it survived with those 4:33 gears out back. My assumption is that the XP motor was pulled early on and put aside, and a built motor was put in for racing at the local drag strip you mentioned above.

Great to see the '69 XP getting reunited with a very special '69 GTO!!!

Reminds me of a locally owned '70 XP out of an Nov, '69 built '70 GTO.
Not mine, but know of the engine going back many decades, & it is now for sale as an assembled relatively fresh longblock. Can make a call, if someone is missing an original XP out of a '70 GTO in that assembly range.

I just wanted to update everyone that has been following this thread. The RAIV code XP block has been reunited with the Judge it came out of.
This past weekend the owner and his son, who is actually the owner, drove 13 hours one way to pick up everything. The look on their faces was priceless when they read out the vin number off the block. It was almost as if they had won the lotto!
The three of us never imagined that this could have ever happened. We sat around for about an hour after loading everything up for the long trip back to their place. We traded stories about the good old days when muscle cars were just used cars and could be found for cheap!
In closing, I would like to thank everyone involved in making this reunion possible. I won't mention any names at the owners request. A special thanks goes out to PY, as this would have probably never happened without this forum.

I have included, with the owners approval, a picture of the RAIV motor mocked up in front of the 1969 Warwick blue Judge it came out of.
