Default 70 Firebird with A/C Wiring

Hi,
I'm trying to figure out a few final wiring loose ends. Fwiw, my original AM FM Delco Stereo radio/8 track is installed wired to aftermarket speakers and is working properly.

There are 4 connections I am unsure of. For the sake of organization, I will post the homeless connectors in individual post. I appreciate the help.

1st Mystery Connector below has 3 wires and is in the HVAC, fuel gauge pod area as shown:

Here are my initial thoughts.
#1 Yellow wires are Hot in on and Acc. Usually radio power, but with a 8 track harness that could be duplicated. Also yellow circuits under hood power Ignition.
#2. Looks like end of the trunk release wire harness, which is black and plugs to switch under glove box.
#3. Gray is Illumination, the black and green are radio speaker related and plug into a radio plug if 8 track is not used is my guess.
#4. Not sure, could be a spark delay, it is Hot at On on the yellow. I don't have my 70 accy. Manual here, but another guess might be the 70 only style rear blower defroster. This a new harness?

Thanks Bruce. It seems these connections may not need to be hooked up at all then? If so, that's easy.
I thought at least Connector #1 with the three wires had to be hooked up somewhere. Btw, harness is an M&H replacement I believe.

Much appreciate your input. Any thoughts on others? I think Bruce got them ID'd.

Not really sure on some.

The pic in post #4 looks like it could be for the kick down switch. But color of one of the wires doesn't seem correct?

Post #2 , where does the other end (wire) go to?

Post #3. what are the colors?
Black, red, green?

Think post #3 pic is for power door locks.

Yes, #3 Connector wires are green, red, and black - yep, probably power door locks (which I don't have)

#2 is part of the dash wiring and the connector sits at the top part of the glove box

#4 is wrapped into, or part of the big purple neutral safety switch ? wiring I'm holding. (this is a 4spd car btw).

Seems I just have lots of extra connectors for options I don't have then.

Normally the unused connectors would be wrapped up in the harness. Since yours is a 4 speed, the kickdown would be wrapped up.

The Same for the PDL connector probably also?

The glove box wire thingy looks like a ground for a light, maybe glovebox light?
(my 70 Formula had the passenger side courtesy light taped up in the loom, it was an extra cost option I think?)

Since the power trunk is just a ground, the wiring to it is black.

The last Unknown #4A is an two prong plug male that looks like it needs a female...again in driver foot well by E-Brake, maybe kick-down or neutral safety?

Thank you.

With that "wing" on it, there is ONLY one place that can go, and that is into the center of the fuse box in a switched or non switched power outlet

Orange is POWER. It either plugs into a Fuse box ACCY power harness, ( a short harness with up to 3 way split for options, available at Ames) ,or the fuse box itself. Normally Hot the orange wires are..
The other looks Radio related. Factory radios had a connector in the rear that had other connectors plug into .

Thanks Bruce and John, all sorted now. Much appreciate your help. Guess the aftermarket radio wiring left many homeless connections.
