Default Headlights not working

Hi all,
For some strange reason the headlights on my '73 Formula have stopped working. Parkers and taillights work fine.
I went to check the fuse but couldn't find one that says 'headlight'.
Has anyone got any idea of what I can check?

Try pushing the dimmer switch. (with headlight switch on)

The power goes from the headlight switch to the dimmer switch then to the headlights.

Check for voltage at the headlight switch (lt. blue wire I think), then dimmer switch.
More than likely the dimmer switch is bad?
If not the light switch?

Newer replacement Dimmer switches can get caught on the carpet grommet, as they are too tall and the top part can stay above that Gromnet. I rebuild old ones for this reason.

You guys are amazing.
I turned the headlights on and then got down and removed the edge of the carpet and floor mat and just wiggled the dipper switch and then checked the headlights and they were on.

I'm not sure though if I need to do anything else i.e. check for loose wiring or if the carpet/floormat was the problem.
I will keep a check on it.
