IMO,
Intake - $1500-$2000
Carb - $1000-$1200
Dist - $500-$600

Just my opinion guys and just trying to help!! Actual sale of this stuff could prove me way off.

Jim,
Mike Wilhoit was looking for an intake. I don't know if it was for the silver formula he's been peddling or the blue formula he just bought but might be worth checking. I think you know him, seems like he mentioned you've talked to him before on your yellow car.

Hey have Mike call me I think he still has my phone #.Tell him what I have and that I may split this stuff up.For what it's worth I did sell a 74 intake about 4 years ago for $2500.00. I just put the package of the Intake,Carb, and Distibutor out there with a price because PY require's it. I am flexible with the price's some what. Thanks, Jim

I'm in a similar boat. I have a carb that I've been told is worth anywhere from basically nothing to $1500. Hard to get reasonable pricing info, especially on rare parts that may not be in huge demand. The value might be there, but the demand might not. I've had few nibbles, but nothing serious. I am also very willing to listen.

Went to the dragstrip last weekend. I have had my Formula for about six years now but have never taken it to the track. It is totally stock and ran a best of 14.40 at 98 MPH. 1qikta was there with his awesome '74. se428bandit made it with his '72 ventura also. Even tajunkman and his wife were there with her 2002 TA. Enjoyed seeing a Nissan GTR run a 10.99 at 132 MPH!

Kyle, have you ever done anything to the engine in your Formula or is it 'as found' ?
It sure looks good.

Greg, the engine in my Formula is basically "as found". I did have to replace the valley pan but the heads have never been off. It has just over 68K miles. Forgot to add that I did put the car on the scales. It weighed 4030 lbs. without me and 4180 with me behind the wheel.

So you're telling us you actually weigh 150 pounds?

Move over kid, and let a grownup drive.

:-)

(great to see you are driving that SD like it was meant to be driven)

Well I weigh more like 155 pounds. Have never been over 165. Guess I am blessed with a good metabolism.

Looks like the bidder has won 1189 other auctions. Sounds pretty reputable, right? The seller has sold 270 items. Now the math part. The buyer has bought 5 percent of his winnings from the same seller. That's about 60 items.

Then just as I'm about to post the above, he gets another bidder that is new to him.

IMO . . .

It matters not how many transactions the first bidder has on the 'bay. Could still be a "buddy bid".

Who knows???
