Default Pesky electrical issue 70 T/A

Issue: Left front turn signal does not operate. Left front parking light DOES operate properly. All other turn signals work properly. I removed the connector/plug from the back of the L-F parking light housing and using test light found no power to the one blade terminal in the connector that operates the t-s. I did this test with key in "on" position and turn signal activated. ( I did same test on other side and there is power at the one-same blade terminal under same conditions). In the course of the restoration I did replace both the turn signal and 4 way flasher units. Also replaced the front headlight harness and the turn signal switch wiring in the steering column. I suspect the issue is in the turn signal switch wiring in the column but I am not sure how to test before tackling that job again. Any ideas on what else I should check? Thanks.

All of the other turn signals work and the bulb checks out just fine. There is no power getting to the terminal in the plug/connector when the key is on and the left t.s. is activated.

You have the prints for your wiring harness and the factory prints I'm assuming.
I would start at the bulb and trace that individual wire (should be color coded) back until I found 12vdc present. Just jump from point to point...don't try to trace every inch of the wire. Just wherever you can access it. If you find the voltage then the break is downstream.
If you get as far as you can before breaking into the column with no voltage...you're probably right about it being in the column.
In fact, I would start checking just as far as I could get access, upstream from the bulb. By the way, have you checked for voltage where the wire enters the socket from the rear?

Check your front side marker light bulb (194) replace that first even if it looks good, and don't use a LED in that location.

The above should rule out the bulb.

I would think Greg's advice is the way to go;
You could unplug the new harness to see if you have signal from the connector, to the bulb to quickly eliminate or point to the new harness.

I checked the L-F fender marker light and that bulb does illuminate along with the L-F parking/turn signal light, when I turn on the H.L. switch to the first detent. Neither of these lights "blink", when the left side turn signal switch is activated. Since they both get power, but don't "blink, doesn't this point to the turn signal switch?

What do the lights do when the Hazard Switch is on?

What kind of turn signal flasher unit is in there?
(and Hazard flasher)

Flasher unit in the harness, near steering wheel usually, just to right of it. , not the one on the fuse box is where I would start.
Glad you checked both bulbs.

Finally replaced the turn signal switch and now all of the turn signals work properly. Thanks all.
