Default just saw a 71 formula with custom side vents

i was driving home from work today and a saw a 1971 formula with it seems custom made side vents in place of the original ones . anyone know who would make these or would they be i one off thing . he was driving too fast for me to take a photo

As in different to the TA vents or even Formula vents, as 71 was the only year to have these. Should have been standard on any of the big engine models in the years following.

Hopefully not like the ones that were on the Camaro?
(like 77 and up or so)

no they actual fit in the existing side vent opening . they must of been custom made wish i had a pic

I have had a 71 and I always found the vents, ummm, different. I can speculate on them appearing and then disappearing in one season...... They do make a 71 Formula a stand out year though.
