That is looking great! And what beautiful weather you have for the work to be done. I see I’m not the only one who takes a lot of pictures of projects lol.

There are different design mixes for different types of surfaces. Usually main roads have less oil in design. Why , oil by nature will lubricate so intersections see the wheel loadings causing ruttings. My point driveways usually need more oil in the design because they see less traffic. Oil is the most costly. Driveways can be mixes called 9.5mm or 19mm then the % of oil and % of other additives. It is a science I've found out.

Looks great ... now get out there and seal it pronto

New steel building?

We are pricing buildings now .... literally 40% cheaper in the south than in NY.

Congratulations! I know how you feel. Mine is only a little over a year old and I can still recall the excitement sitting there and watching the process. I had it sealed after 4 or 5 months or so I think... Probably do it again in a year or maybe even this fall.

Nice! What a huge upgrade to do. I have almost as much to convert from gravel myself. Where in Oregon are you? Lived in Estacada for years.

It also doubles as a squirrel feeder. Birds are very messy eaters, they spill a lot. You can also see the inverted cone that hangs on the post to keep the pesky squirrels from climbing up.

This is so sad. Now I'm fascinated by watching sealcoating videos on youtube.

Right? But as you probably know, there is no such town in Alabama.

Frankly, I never thought about it being a town name, but it would be a cool idea for Alabama.
