I would say Jeff Kauffman's digger going low 7's? then The Tin Indian digger (can't remember the owner/driver at this point) going mid/high 7's. My question would be who's the fastest door car N/A with Kauffman HP's? Seem's that everyone who puts them on gain considerable power, even the swaps from 320-330 range Edelbrocks! Doesn't seem to be alot of K-HP's out there yet though. Glad I was able to make a deal with the high bidder on mine, I wasn't about to let them go for that kind of money! Now I'll just go ahead and get them done... Thanks D. Miles

I think there are more out there we just have not heard about them. Not everyone is on the boards.

Default KRE High Ports

Bran Smuland with his Turbo MR-1 block 97 Top Sportsmen Firebird. He ran some 7.30's-7.50's at Norwalk with the Boost turned down really low just so he could make it down the track. Car has 6.70 potential!

Brad Smuland's tubo High Port 505 Bird is capable of high 6's. He has been a frantic 4 contender for the past couple years running low 7's. My High Port headed 535 in a 3200 lb Bird will run in the high 8's this year w/ some changes to the converter and gearing. No power adders.

The fastest I've seen Brad S run on NO2 was a 7.58 at Norwalk 06'. Scott Rex ran the same on motor.

His turbo deal has alot of potential.

Flyin79bird,
High 7's N/A at 2700 lbs. that's around 400 lbs. heavier then Mr. Rex.............SWEET!

I ran 8.24 with only 7 lbs. of Boost at 2,900 lbs., plan on cranking it up to 20 lbs. this year now that I finally have it Certed to 7.50.

NHRA.................................what a pain in the Butt they are.
