Default 1978 Trans Am Taillight problem

Recent problem: The drivers side tailights will not work for brake, signal,or 4 way flasher. It will light for the park lights. Passenger side is all good.

I have verified fuses are good, bulbs are all good, sockets are all good checked both grounds in the trunk -all good, swapped flasher-no change, replaced brake switch-no change. Installed a new GM turn signal switch-no change.

Could a faulty printed circuit board for the gauges cause this issue?

I dont know where else to look?

Thanks

Check voltages?
At lamps, body connections, at steering column, etc?

Any interior work lately? Trunk work?

I have not checked any voltages and no work happened in the interior or trunk.

Thought the new turn signal switch would have fixed it

Park light uses different wire, but having it working says the ground should be good. Turn and brake use same wire that comes thru turn signal switch
so gonna have to trouble shoot at bottom of column, don't have wiring diagram so can't tell you colours. So either have broken wire or bad connection between column
and right tail light. Either use test light or voltmeter to trace wire.

[After more investigating I found I had no power for drivers side signal light lead(yellow wire) the passenger side Dark green lead had power.
So started working my way back to fuse box, tested the yellow wire along the door sill and no power, took off the drivers side kick panel and didnt find anything there either.

Turns out all these wires go to a harmonica connector at the right side of the fuse box and the yellow signal lead was broken off there.

The connector at the fuse box has been butchered and I will to find another to fix it right
I have no idea where to get one of them???

Thanks for the replys so far

There are seven connectors total in the harmonica, mine is missing the top 2 terminals which are yellow top and green next. For now I added onto the yellow and green wires(green broke removing connector...2 steps back)
These are spade terminals in the connector.
I didnt want to completely remove the connector for a pic as it was no fun trying to get the 2 loose wires back in the clips.

Hard to tell from that picture, but is there spots for 7 wires? looks like there is a space between a orange and brown wire? And a space before the white?
Are they flat terminals or female terminals?

Yes there are spots for 7 wires,on mine the top 2 the plastic connector was broke off or cut. Your correct on the space between orange and brown wires and a big empty space before the white wire. I have been in correspondence with David T Camaro & Firebird in Edmonton and they think they have that part, called the rear tail light transition connector harness.
The terminals in the harmonica are small flat blades that plug into the female ends on the other side

I hope they will mail this to me so I can get it fixed the right way,the way it is now the top 2 wires are loose
