Real real nice job!
That high level of torque is very much due to all that valve lift and the attendant amount of air mass it allows to pass through the intake tract and the average high level of port velocity that is made! Air flow and velocity go hand in hand in at least a 50/50 ratio! A whole bunch of folks on here would love to have there .060” over 428 making that much power! Once again that’s a sweet motor !

wish they made an off the shelf heads like this. I bet there would be more 350P out there if they did.
"KRE D-port heads bought bare as cast Custom chamber and port work to maximize potential with the small 3.905 bores"

I agree 100% I think the 350P should not be so overlooked. My first stab at one made 380hp/425tq with mildly ported iron heads and a flat tappet cam. The nice flat curve made for a 12.40 street driven Ventura. Making some head & cam upgrades and that one is going in my son's Ventura

Congrats on the build/achievement! Where's your local track for testing? I know here in NJ, Atco is usually the first to open in mid March for T&T if weather cooperates...best of luck with whichever track you test at!
Question: how much would you estimate you've got in this build?

Can you post the dyno sheet for the fully ported street Dominator? Depending on gearing and convertor it is possible that that setup might run faster in the 1/4 mile. Stan

6500ish in parts..plus machine work on the short block....build has taken 2 yrs so that figure would be higher now. Couldnt even guess how much time I have in the port work, cam design etc

I sure hope so. The little 350P has been pretty much kicked to the curb.

Which part of the whole Intake tract where you using for the minimum port area in your port speed calculations?

That was what I came up with for average port speed using formulas from PipeMax and SRH site. Min cross section was 2.26 at the pr pinch. I am sure the port speed was much higher there.

Nicely done. So much for the canard that you can’t make horsepower with less than a 4.000 cylinder bore.

Here are the best pulls for a ported T2, the ported HSD, and a reworked Pro Products crosswind. Really think the PP intake will be the best street intake? Wishing I had spent more time with the PP but we had 5 intakes and 4 carbs along to test. Knew it was gonna be a long day and honestly was chasing numbers. Sigh. My wife wants to take it back with some customized spacers and see if the smaller intakes can be made better. 24 pulls now....I think its time to put it in the car and tune there! 73 Ventura. 3450lbs. Th350. 3.90 gears and 28" tire

Recently had a set of KRE CNC chamber heads here and it was completely opposite....lost 15cfm by. 500 and kept getting worse from there. Same with the E heads I originally started the build with.
