I wonder who is doing the heads. Looks like we will see how far that split port can go with Uractchko involved.

PC,I mean the HEADS have been out for a few years,not the intake.As far as I know Dons heads are the only one with the split port?Tom

With the split port running all the way to plenum it makes me wonder if one side moves more air (high velocity) than the other side what happens when the two columns of air/fuel meet in the bowl and then into the chamber??

Since my old company offered a split port head in production, (and both runners were mirror images of each other), there was not higher velocity in one side vs the other side.
Also I have inspected Don's heads a few times and I believe they are not a true split port but a optimized pushrod enclosure (minimal flow loss) with his design.

My last employer's old round ports heads and pushrod enclosure (even with the vane) was not optimized for flow by any means. I talked with several designers of that head when I worked there. The split port was a interesting project.

Offenhauser used to make this Duel Port manifold for Pontiacs. One small high velocity side supposedly for low end and a lower velocity side that dumped into the head.
Don't think they were ever successful.
