TH400 9.5" Billet Spragless Torque Converter NEW
Have a NEW 9.5" Billet Torque Converter with Steel 17 Blade Stator and Spragless. This was $1050 and is ideal for the track guy looking to knock out consistent E.T. with max reliability. Stall should be around 3500rpm, depends on your combo, and around 4-6% slippage up top.

Converter still available, never used and most shops charge $1100 +. It's a Sinister Speed converter, I have one in my GTO and they're great.

Car is specd for a 500lb torque engine to stall around 3800rpm (lower if less torque) with 28" tire on a 3.55 gear. Coupling depends on rpm and gearing but in the 4% range around 5800rpm or sooner depending on rear gear and tire height.

Covid blow out, $750 on a $1200 (today's price) converter. Billet cover, Spragless and 9.5", great for strong street strip car that doesn't want sprag issues from hard launches.
I'll keep it if the SC gets on my GTO and I don't sell.
