Does that make sense?

Never been to this event, just building my first Pontiac now (67 firebird) but was considering coming out with my dad. Sounds like a nice car show with lots of events, but are there any "deals" on parts? I was also hoping I could hear some of the various Pypes systems in person to help me make up my mind. Do they (Pypes) have anything like that?

Thanks!
Dave

Sure are tons of deals! Both PY and Pypes have special discounts on ALL parts at the show.

Pypes doesn't have a test firebird you could hear sound, but with over 500 cars, I'm sure you could find a 1st gen bird with Pypes on it

Great. Thanks for the info! Should be able to get some of the big parts I've been needing. As far as the exhaust goes, it doesn't have to be a first gen, just would like to hear any 400s with their exhaust.

Sounds like it should be a good fathers' day weekend!

No MG. At least Jim isn't doing anything with it this year.

Not a valid reason for not attending
Come without a car. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out!

If I don't have to work that Saturday (won't know until Friday at 6) and the weather is good, I plan on spectating with my nephew in tow. Figured an all Pontiac show is what he needs to see to help with motivation for the LeMans. Am I correct in guessing that parking for spectators is in the Alderfer Auction parking lot? And if so will any of their staff be present? If so, is there alternate parking?

Hi Bob
Yes, Alderfer's parking lot is for spectators but they aren't planning to have their staff present during the show, just our staff directing traffic.
This year we have permission to use the firehouse on the corner of Clemens & Fairgrounds for spectator parking. It's just as close as the Alderfer lot.
