Default how to fix saggy sunvisors

on my 81 turbo t/a the vinyl on the sunvisor has come loose or expanded and are sagging . anyone have a fix ,or do i need to buy new ones

I think they have the foam underneath like the headliner does and eventually, it breaks down. Having them recovered is an option.

I have about 8 pairs of them, and they all feel like just vinyl over the board with no foam cushioning. The vinyl covers on most of them fit pretty tight without looseness. And one pair is like you describe, with the vinyl covers being loose. It makes sense that there might have been some foam that disintegrated over time. But, I've had the cover off of one of them, and there's no significant residue from foam under the vinyl. If there was foam, it must have been very thin to begin with.

Mine had a piping around the edge that the stitches came out of. I am a bit of a perfectionist and figured it would be better to get new than repair what was worn out. I havent done either one yet! But for the cost of the replacements I am tempted to dig mine out of the storage bin and see if I can breathe some new life into them.
