Seeking advice: What to do with Original Bumpers and 400 Block
Hello All,
I’m selling my house and downsizing to a smaller residence. For years I have kept the original bumpers because I plan to buy new remanufactured ones. I don’t know if I should scrap them or if there’s a GTO enthusiast that would want to restore the originals (see pic). Also, I have a Butler built 400 engine. The original block (see pic) is bored 60 and probably cannot be used. I cannot take it with me. I will keep (for now) the original heads and intake manifold. Thank you

Don't scrap the bumpers. Someone can use them. If I were closer I would get the front one. Are you staying in the Coral Springs area?

The bumpers look like they'd be good for a daily driver, or good for rechroming for a restoration. As for the engine block...it would be a big thing to have to move, but I'd hate to get rid of the original block for a car. I read all the time where people are trying to find the original engines for their cars, if there's any way to keep it I would do that. Maybe you could turn it into a coffee table or something.

It is really easy to sleeve an engine. Don't get rid of it because it is 60 over.
