Default PHS questions

Just curious to know exactly what you get from them on a 63?

Have ordered before...but for later model years.

Do you get an actual invoice copy....with options.....and selling dealer?

Thanks

My 64 Bonneville PHS, About 50 pages of AMA Specifications & the build sheet. The photo copy was poor ,do to age in storage. The good news I found both build sheets still in my car

This was a discussion a few years ago about what is included in the PHS packet for 1961, I would imagine 1964 is generally the same: http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/....php?p=5684020

This is what you get for 63, plus the generic stuff.

The build sheet was intended to be used for assembly only and not as a boon to future historians. They were intended to be gathered up and thrown out at the end of the line just like coffee cups, extra papers and loose fasteners. So if you do find one it's pure dumb luck.

Inside the seat, above the fuel tank, behind the headliner, under the carpet, behind the dash are all fertile ground to look for one that was left behind. Results vary based on build location, production shift and individual operators.

Keith is right that the sheet could be found almost anywhere. But read it close and see if it really matches your car. I found more than one. And without going to the files now and looking - if I remember correctly - one of them seemed to have a model number that says it was a Buick.

Not quite ready for pictures....but it's a pretty decent survivor.....from central Oregon.....not rusty....

The original paint is sunburned...interior is still VERY nice.

Was sitting in a carport for the last 23 years.....

Been going over the mechanicals and should be running in the next few days...

What's the story on yours?

My 63 Bonne SW has a well documented history ...bought from original owners wife in Rosmond CA next to Edwards AFB.
Car had engine issues in 1971 ...owner took motor out...sat like that in desert till I got it in 2000.
A few pics in my profile ...need to finish putting back together....which is the story of my life !
421 HO auto with bucket seats console power everything, tilt wheel, split back rear seat, TI ignition, AC ....
