Default Wild 70's Graphics

Here is an interesting one, a true flashback to the 70's. Very creative paint scheme. Not a fan of the dorsal shark fin though.

I think there is the right amount of LSD where that car would look great!

That car, with the fin and paint job, was on Ebay UK last year.
I remember it, don't think is sold though.
Can't remember what they wanted for it.
Mick

Edit. It is on eBay now haha, I assume it is where the original poster got the pics
If not here is the link https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PONTIAC-F...4AAOSwtKRdD-2V

Well, it would be the only one like it at the Trans Am Nationals. For the first time in my life I kinda wish it had an LS powerplant under the hood.

Hard to believe that was once a 73 Trans Am.

I love 70's style paintjobs! Its the sole reason why I'm teaching myself how to paint. It would cost an arm and a leg to have something like that done today!

That T/A is sweet except for that fin on the trunk.

I can imagine! It looks like the entire "House of Color" is on that one TA. It's a cool piece to just look at. The dash center looks like something off a late 90's CNC machine!

A lot of California Low Riders are still painted like that. Truly a work of art that I sure as hell would not want to do the masking work.

A lot of today's "NOSTALGIA GASSERS" are being painted that way. I think it looks great! That bird is hideous tho!

I agree that the Firebird is Hideous! But by the look of the plate and the background in the pictures I suspect that car is south of the US boarder somewhere.

Do you know the car, Mickey?

The car has 79-81 front end and rear bumber/tail lights/quarters(?) on it I think.

It is cool in a way, not sure about the rear fin though.

Always loved that pic.
Reminds me of the loss of HO Racing guys though now.

Craig had a thread or something on this car somewhere here on PY.

Hi,
No I don't know the car, it is about 300 miles away from me.
I recognised it from being on eBay last year. And it is back up on eBay now.
The paint work isn't my thing but I am in awe of the work and skill gone into it

Mick

This was one of my cars I bought about two years ago to flip. It needed some work. The paint job was amazing and the ground affect's were all in metal. I don't know who built the car.

Saw it on FB last week, didn’t post it for fear of hater attacks. Lord knows I get enough of that here from a few nobodies. Lol with that being said, that’s one trip of a car.

It's back up for sale on FB? I was going to put in a LS Motor and modern transmission in it. I had to much work and didn't want to store it long term, so I just made the repairs and re-sold it. Real ice car but why would you put all that money into it and keep the 6 cylinder motor. The interior was a little out dated also
