Several voicing opinions.

I don't really care either way; I just do a search on "carburetor".

Then I check "Lobby" and "Street".

Whatever the ownership does with this is fine with me.

Actually, I'm sorry that I ever started this thread. Most don't seem to get the reason why. So rather than creating chaos, I implore the powers that be to to just close it. I somehow got this crazy notion that we could peacefully discuss any topic without someone throwing a curve into the discussion.

Meanwhile, I'll continue to enjoy the hated late model GTOs by those here who fail to acknowledge them. One thing I will guarantee is that when the collector value rises these doubters will have a different opinion.

I speak from experience as the original owner of a 2004 who is still driving the car nearly twenty years later. I drive it EVERY day to and from work and it still has the original belts and hoses, at 108k miles!

So, at least for me, I applaud GM for delivering a powertrain that delivers performance and reliability.
