Question '69 Part ID...

Gathering up the last of the '69 Engine bits and came across this bracket/strap that I have never seen before. Bolts onto the Atl bracket.
Anyone know what this holds?

Rubber dip coating and the split is coated on the edges so it was there from the start.

I'm thinking based on location and with the insulation coat it was to hold the alt wire away from the manifold, I've just never seen this.

I've looked in some of my books and couldn't find anything like it.

Looks like to me it held a hose. Like a vacuum line perhaps to the breather valve on a smog pump? I'm grasping at straws with that though.

Jeff,

I second the straw grasp of a Non Power Steering A.I.R. car. I have owned 5 69's, 1 Tempest, 1 Lemans, and 3 Firebirds and have never seen anything like it, but non of the cars were A.I.R. equiped, and only the Tempest was a non pwr steering car.

OK Thanks guys, I just thought maybe it was something "I" hadn't seen before.
I'll just add it to the Whatsit box

Now to something else I wasn't aware of and/or have never noticed until recently.
I now know what it is but figured I'll throw it out there.
Round 2 of whats it...

Winner!
Sorry I do not have any spares.
I am working off factory install sheets to recreate something I had never seen before.
The NOS booster that just passed on epay had the sheets, showing the OHC set-up.
Learn something new everyday

What are you getting on the tube ?

Thumbs up Power Brake Booster Bracket

This the factory install diagram Jeff had referenced.
I took a few photos of the part with a tape next to the bracket.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to keep it, but should be easy to duplicate.

I had (have)one of those kits too and used the tube as a template for my repros.
Jeff, lemme look and make sure I still have all the fittings.
IIRC the flare fitting was replaced with a compression one.
Looks the same when installed.
