Watching time on a dial is basically a waste of time.

Maybe those that dislike DST would like it better if the "savings" accrued interest???

I’ll take the interest I need Trans AM parts

Personally, i like when it's 8pm and their still is light. In the winter time it gets dark here at 4:30 in the afternoon and i hate it. Georgia is talking about keeping the time the same and not falling back next year.

So on November 1st they'll tell you to put your clock back an hour, so you won't be so damn miserable. That's the savings. But when you cash out in the spring, you lose an hour of life it seems. That's life here in the winter. This year will be tough, with likely no sunny destination to break up the February doldrums..

Well, well... didn’t I just hear on the news today, that they want to introduce a bill to stay on DST year round across the Country. Apparently it is gaining a lot of bipartisan support.

Not having the extra hours of light makes me lazy, and I just want to curl up in my recliner after dinner and fall asleep by 6pm, when I’d otherwise be outside working in my yard, taking a walk, giving the dogs a bath, washing the cars. Etc.

Lightbulb Daylight Savings al ready?

Just a friendly reminder to those who live where this applies, don’t forget to FALL BACK one hour. I wish this year could be over as fast as changing the clocks seemed to be here.

Tonights the night, everythings gonna be alright.

Winter is coming, enough complaining about changing a clock, my car is in storage until April. Maybe we should move south where the amount of sunlight doesn't change that much from July to Dec. Not sure its worth low mileage.

I sure hope so.

Washington State voted to stay on DST year-round last year but we can't do it without congressional approval. Apparently, if you want to go to standard time year-round you can do that without the feds okay. I don't understand any of that, I just know that building a fence in the dark after work this next couple of weeks is going to suck.

Well, looking "forward". What is the date next year for DST. My smart fone doesn't say.
